Palazzo dei Cerchi - Florence Italy

In my trip to Italy I visited this amazing building which is the best preserved Florentine buildings of the XII century situated between via della Condotta, vicolo de Cerchi and Via de Cimatori in Florence Italy. Actually on this magnificent place there is an amazing shop GENTEN FIRENZE.
Discover the Florentine craftsmanship visiting this shop a meeting between italian and Japanese culture, in the beautiful setting of a Rennaissance palace, Palazzo dei Cerchi, Florentine frescos combine with the light effects of washi, the Japanese rice paper. In a place where peace and silence, let feel people at home.
GENTEN Firenze is the result of the sensibility and tradition of Japan and Italy cultures, blended together in this project that has a special points, three concepts to realize a sophisticated products. I love the quality of leather and the fine touches in their details.

Mauro will explain the various phases of his work, from skin care to creation of the bag. These amazing creators are working inside of this building.

When I think about violets I always transport myself into my childhood, I remember my mother used to have a collection of violets, all kind and all colors.

My mother had the most beautiful violets, and I always think that someday I will do the same thing   today I'm starting my collection with a beautiful violet in my favorite color pink, I love those curly petals and the softness of the texture. Today I have in my desk this beautiful violet, my first violet for I hope a big collection.

Florence - Italy (Central Market)

Mercato Centrale - Firenze

When you travel probably one of the most important places to visit if you love Food is the Central Market, today I want to show you a little bit about the Central Market in Florence.
My friend Miky and I expend the morning discovering flavors and colors, This is the most beautiful place where you can find the traditional food and flowers. Everything here is full of color and traditional aroma of the amazing Italian food.
I wanted to test everything but I can not believe how many different cheeses and bread they have. You can have a "crostini toscani" or a Panino with a one of best wine from "chianti" for less than 7 Euro and for sure you will ask for something more.
You can expend the all morning testing wine, cheese, "prosciutto", "accetto balsamico", coffee and much more.
The Central market is just behind to "Mercato San Lorenzo" in downtown Florence, the most popular flee market in the city, but San Lorenzo is another story.

What a best way to end our walk at the market, expresso con traditional Napolitan dessert "baba' rustic"

Waffles are eaten throughout the world, particularly in Belgium, France, Netherlands, Scandinavia and the United States.

The word “waffle” first appears in the English language in 1725: "Waffles. Take flower, cream..." It is directly derived from the Dutch ‘’wafel’’, which itself derives from the Middle Dutch ‘’wafele’’

Other than history and grammar The Waffles that I had yesterday were home made by my good friend Lyann awesome texture and flavor, you should try her recipe. Highly recommend.

I had so much fun with my friend eating waffles and doing some photography. She is such a great cooker I learned a lot how to eat clean and home made.

Take a look of this adorable spoon, "Good morning love" ... how sweet the way to start to day right?

"La mia bella Firenze" My beautiful Florence-Italy, This is just a little note about my favorite city in the world, you probably will see a lot of post about this city in my blog because it is always in my mind and in my heart. I would probably say that I lived there the most important part of time in my life.

In honor to that memory is this photo, "The Carrousel", who brings me good memories of my walks across "Piazza La repubblica"

My sunday was kind of quite but time well spend with my camera and some flowers that I previously bought in little Italy's Farmers market in San Diego, Ca. I love that place because I always get many inspiration with colors and flavors. This time I found a little man with a great attitude and also with the most beautiful  flowers.

I hope you had a wonderful weekend as well.
